Who We Are?

Pearls and Wellbeing Foundation (PWF) is a woman’s led, non-profit and a non-governmental organization, founded in 2019 by a team of young  female researchers with multi-sectoral experience in the humanitarian and public health sector. It was incorporated by the Coporate Affairs Commission with CAC/IT/176072 in 2022.

PWF aims to advance community health, education, livelihood supports through research and advocacy, health promotion and education, community development, capacity building, program evaluations, needs assessment, baseline/midline/endline surveys, system strengthening and service delivery, especially for vulnerable and marginalized population in Nigeria and beyond.

What We Do?

At Pearls and Wellbeing Foundation (PWF), our primary objective is to enhance the well-being of communities confronting distinctive challenges. Our approach places a strong emphasis on comprehensive research, which underpins our efforts in several critical areas, including community health, particularly maternal and child health, support for women and girls experiencing displacement (IDP), food security and nutrition, advocacy, sensitization, gender and social inclusion, and child protection.
Through these multifaceted initiatives, our overarching goal is to catalyze enduring, positive transformation within communities. By doing so, we aspire to empower these communities, enabling them to lead lives that are not only healthier and safer but also marked by increased opportunities for personal and collective empowerment.”
